SEE: Petra Kvitova enjoys Han Show, meets Li Na in Wuhan
Petra Kvitova faced a stunning first-round exit at the Wuhan Open in China, losing in three tie-breakers to local star Shuai Peng earlier this week.
But, the Czech tennis star seems to have gotten over it as she enjoyed the Han Show – a theatre performance held in honour of the Han culture in Wuhan, featuring acrobatic performances from international artists.
Kvitova took to her official Instagram account to share a picture of herself from the show.
“Thanks once again Wuhan for a wonderful stay – we spent our last night here at the spectacular Han Show,” the 27-year-old wrote to her 296,000 followers.
There was more in the store for Kvitova though. The two-time Wimbledon champion also caught up with Chinese legend Li Na.
“I couldn’t leave Wuhan without saying hi to my Li Na,” she wrote on Twitter with a snapshot of the duo.
Kvitova flew down to Beijing on Thursday for next week’s China Open.
