Danish tennis star Caroline Wozniacki’s season came to a premature end after she accidently cut her finger with a bread knife that constrained her racquet grip. Consequently, she pulled out of the last week’s tournament in Zhuhai, China, thereby winding off the season.

However, this seems to have not deterred Wozniacki, as she made her way to Dubai to make the most of the off season. The 25-year-old, later, took to social media to share a picture of hers, where she can be seen enjoying in a pool, wearing black swimwear.

On-Court Life

Despite a fruitful first part of the season – where she pulled off the WTA title in Kuala Lumpur after a runner-up finish at the season-opening tournament in Auckland – Wozniacki failed to capitalize the momentum in the second half.

The former World No. 1, eventually, winded up the year with a 39-23 win-loss record.
