BCCI, CSA Agree Upon 72-Day Bilateral Series This Year
Cricket South Africa (CSA) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed the itinerary for the forthcoming bilateral series that comprises of 3 T20Is, 5 ODIs and 4 Test matches across September-December this year.
CSA chief executive, Haroon Lorgat, touted the tour between the two nations as an “icon series”, before adding that the grueling 72-day tour will be the longest one to India signed up by the board.
SCHEDULE
Following a practice match on September 29 in Delhi, the two teams will lock horns in three T20Is on Sept 2 (Dharamsala), Sept 5 (Cuttack) and Sept 8 (Kolkata).
Subsequently, the ODIs will be held on Oct 11 (Kanpur), Oct 14 (Indore), Oct 18 (Rajkot), Oct 22 (Chennai), and Oct 25 (Mumbai).
Furthermore, the Test matches will be held in Mohali (Nov 5-9), Bangalore (Nov 14-18), Nagpur (Nov 25-29), and Delhi (Dec 3-7).
