Serena Williams the Greatest Ever; Could Surpass Steffi Graf’s Grand Slam Record: Andre Agassi
19-time Grand Slam champion Serena Williams might be trailing Steffi Graf’s record of 22 Grand Slam titles, but what she has achieved so far in her illustrious career is remarkable, insists former World No.1 Andre Agassi.
Agassi, a legendary American tennis pro and the better half of Graf, praised his consort for her incredible achievements. In spite of the records speaking the other way round, Agassi opines that Serena is the ‘greatest’ player of all time.
“She was thrilled with her career, she had no regrets, she did everything she could do and that’s all she ever cared about,” Agassi was quoted as saying by Stuff.co.nz. “But what Serena is doing is remarkable,” he continued.
“She’s arguably the greatest ever, it would be easy to argue that regardless of 22 or not. Records are meant to be broken and if Serena does it, it would be a beautiful thing to watch.”
