NFL Week 8 Fantasy Rankings: Quarterbacks
Peyton Manning extended his legacy last Sunday night (October 19, 2014) when he broke Brett Favre’s all-time record for passing touchdowns by moving his total to 510 in the Denver Broncos’ blowout win over San Francisco.
On pace to throw 51 touchdowns in 2014, Manning is in the midst of another historic season. He’s at the top of his game at 38 years old, and his presence could make Denver a favorite for a repeat trip back to the Super Bowl.
As good as Manning is, he come in a very close second on the Week 8 fantasy rankings. Green Bay superstar Aaron Rodgers has simply been on fire as of late, and he’ll head to New Orleans to take on No. 3 Drew Brees and the Saints. Brees has been hampered by an injury to his All Pro tight end Jimmy Graham, but this game should see a ton of points scored.
Beyond the big three quarterbacks, third-year stars Andrew Luck and Russell Wilson continue to put up huge stats through the air and on the ground. Luck will take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 8, while Wilson and the Seahawks will look to rebound against Carolina’s weak defensive unit.
And of course we can’t forget Tom Brady, who has stormed back with three huge games to find a spot back amongst the game’s best. Here the Top 20 fantasy quarterbacks in Week 8:
