NFL Week 6: Cowboy vs Seahawks Highlights
Sporting a surprising 4-1 record heading into Week 6, the Dallas Cowboys headed into Seattle today (Sun., October 12, 2014) to take on the defending Super Bowl champion Seahawks.
The Cowboys came in fresh off a Week 5 overtime win over Houston, while Seattle was working on a short week after demolishing Washington on Monday Night Football.
Seattle was notoriously the toughest place to place in the NFL, but the Cowboys were ready to play.
The Seahawks got the scoring started with an early field goal by Steven Hauschka. The champs extended their lead to 10-0 with a 25-yard return of a blocked punt (courtesy of Vine):
The Cowboys joined the party with a short touchdown pass from Tony Romo to tight end Gavin Escobar (Vine):
The Cowboys tied the game at 10 with a Dan Bailey field goal, then took the lead 17-10 with a score to longtime tight end Jason Witten (Vine):
Seattle came storming back with a 9-yard touchdown from Russell Wilson, however (Vine):
Seattle added another field goal to go up 20-17 late in the third quarter. Dallas then tied it at 20 with a field goal of their own.
Another Hauschka field goal gave Seattle the advantage 23-20.

The Cowboys added a late field goal to shock the champs 30-23 in their house, improving to 5-1 as they enter division play.
