Herald newspaper from Australia got the insight information on cricket umpires salaries for 2013 year and here are the details of how much umpires in elite panel gets paid. ICC pay them the retainer/basic salary for a year while they also get match fee for every match they officiat.
Average Yearly Income of Cricket umpires ?
According to herald (australian newspaper) Steve Bucknar who is retired now from cricket umpiring was making more than $100K in yearly income. In his last year as umpire he made $120,000 by officiating 34 days of cricket. But mostly umpires salaries are defined by the series hosting board, sponsors and they are not disclosed.
