Manchester City went into the game against Crystal Palace knowing that they have a massive chance of going top of the league with winning all three points against Palace and they did just that, though had to make work hard for that. City started the game on front foot and should have taken the lead in the first half as couple of good chances fell their way, but palace were resiliant and they turn up in the 2nd half.

The away side going against the odds put City under good pressure and had decent chance to take the lead before Edin Dzeko scored in the 66th minute to calm the home side nerves. City has been sensational at home and they have won all of their games at home now have total of 41 points in the league with Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool playing tomorrow they have taken the initiative and if Arsenal failed to win their game tomorrow City will go into the 2014 with 41 points and on top of the league.
