Tottenham sacked their manager Andrea Villa Boes last week and the reason behind the fall out was Villa Boes reluctant to use Togo striker Emmanuel Adebayor in the first team. Villa Boes gone in comes Adebayor straight into first team action and he already scored in the Capital One Cup during midweek and he starts Premier League game against Southampton and what do he do ? well he scored two goals for Spurs to win the game and all three points which put Spurs back into the top 4 mix.

Southampton took the lead through Adam Lallana who scored in the 13th minute of the match, but a goal from Adebayor made it 1-1 on the day, another goal but this time an own goal but Spurs 2-1 up but Ricki Lambert made sure Southampton stay in touch with Spurs. Adebayor was on song this game against Saints and he scored a top goal to give all three points to Spurs and a 3-2 win.
