Arsenal took on Chelsa in the 4th round of the Capital one cup at Emirates Stadium and Arsene Wenger went with a very young looking side but they got off to a bad start as a defensive blunder helped Chelsea take a lead through Cesar Azpilicueta who scored just before the half hour mark to put the away side 1-0 upfront. From than on chelsea defended in numbers and never looked like scoring with 8 men behin the ball and Arsenal created a few chances but could not find the back of the net.

Chelsea scored again in the 2nd half with goal coming from Juan Mata who started a rare game in Chelsea colours, and Jose Mourinho side book their place in the next round of the League Cup with 2-0 win at Emirates.
