13th edition of the Hockey World Cup will be played on Holland started from 31st May to 15th June and this is one of the biggest sporting events in field hockey and there will be 12 teams taking part in the competition and this evet was started by Pakistan back in 1973 and they have won the Hockey World Cup most times which counts for 4 times.
Holland will be hosting the Hockey World Cup for the 3rd time in 2014, before that they also hosted in 1973 and 1998, all the matches will be played at Kyocera Stadion in Holland. The venues was selected after bidding process where London and Hague were involved and FIH awarded the hosting rights to dutch city.
