Trent Boult continued from where he’d left in the previous ODI.

The New Zealand fast bowler, who starred with 5/21 in the previous ODI, was on song yet again as he took two quick wickets to have India struggling at 18-4 at one stage in the fifth ODI on Sunday.

First, he had opener Shikhar Dhawan caught off Matt Henry. Then, he sensationally got one to nip back in to dismiss the experienced MS Dhoni cheaply (see video below).

India, however, rode on a 98-run partnership between Ambati Rayudu (90) and Vijay Shankar (45) before all-rounder Hardik Pandya smashed 22-ball 45 and Kedar Jadhav added 35 runs to propel the visitors to 252 runs.

For New Zealand, Matt Henry took 4/45 apart from Boult’s 3/39 in skittling India out in 49.5 overs.
