Seattle Seahawks Cut QB Terrelle Pryor
Former Oakland Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor was headed for a fresh start in a fresh town when the Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks traded a seventh round pick for the former Ohio State star earlier this year.
Pryor had a chance to earn his keep as the backup to touted Seahawks signal caller Russell Wilson, and with his lethal mobility, he potentially provided an excellent change of pace for the Seahawks.
However, it appears that the experiment just didn’t work out, as Pryor has been cut from the Seahawks tonight according to league sources (per Pro Football Talk):

Pryor was behind veteran Tarvaris Jackson the Seahawks’ depth chart, but was looking to secure the third spot after looking solid at times throughout the preseason with a long touchdown run and pass. However, the knock on Pryor is that he never had the passing skills to contend with the NFL game, and that may have sealed his ultimate fate.
His pure athleticism may find him a job with another team in need of a backup quarterback.
