NFL Week 8: Redskins vs Cowboys Highlights
The sliding Washington Redskins traveled into Dallas Cowboys Stadium to take on the NFC East-leading Cowboys tonight (Mon., October 27, 2014) in a must-win game.
With third-string quarterback Colt McCoy at the helm, Washington was supposed to get blown out. Despite a first half interception by McCoy, the Redskins were actually the first team on the scoreboard with an early field goal.

Dallas lead 7-3 after surprisingly low-scoring first half. The Redskins went up 10-7 with a 5-yard rushing score by Alfred Morris (Vine):
Romo went down on a vicious sack in the third quarter, and it was feared that he had re-injured his surgically repaired back.
Dallas tied the game 10-10 with a Dan Bailey field goal, but Colt McCoy put the Redskins up again with a 7-yard rushing touchdown (Vine):
The Cowboys tied the game with a 25-yard touchdown from backup Brandon Weeden to longtime tight end Jason Witten (Vine):
Romo came back late in the fourth quarter and attempted to lead Dallas down the field, but the game went to overtime.
Washington drove down the field and kicked a field goal, and Romo couldn’t lead the Cowboys back, giving the Redskins the shocking victory 20-17.
