NFL Week 6: Giants vs Eagles Highlights
With three straight wins, the New York Giants were on fire heading into their Week 6 match-up with NFC East rival Eagles in Philadephia tonight (Sun., October 12, 2014).
However, that run didn’t quite continue when they met up with Philadelphia head coach Chip Kelly’s high-octane offense.
After an early field goal by Philadelphia, quarterback Nick Foles extended their lead to 10-0 with this incredible catch by tight end Zach Ertz (courtesy of Vine):
The Eagles made it 17-0 with another scoring pass, this time to tight end James Casey (Vine):
Another field goal put them up 20-0 at the start of the third quarter.
They went up by a wide margin of 27-0 with a touchdown by running back Darren Sproles (Vine):
New York failed to mount any significant offense and was shut out. They’ll head into Week 7 with a lot of work to do in the tough NFC East, because both Dallas and Philadelphia have impressive 5-1 records.
