Texans vs Cowboys Highlights

The Houston Texans rolled into Dallas to take on the Cowboys in a Texas rivalry showdown today (Sun., October 5, 2014).

The Cowboys were on a roll since their Week 1 loss to the San Francisco 49ers, winning three straight games on the strength of a punishing running game featuring running back DeMarco Murray and a surprising defense that was thought to be one of the worst units in the league.

But they had debunked that theory in the early going of 2014, and they had an excellent chance to continue their momentum today. It turned out to be a very, very close game. Check out the Texans vs Cowboys highlights below.

The scoring got started with a Dan Bailey field goal, to which the Texans responded with this spectacular 15-yard touchdown run by Arian Foster (courtesy of Vine):

The Cowboys took the lead 10-7 with this elusive 43-yard touchdown from Tony Romo to receiver Terrance Williams (Vine):

They extended the lead to 17-7 with a 2-yard score from Romo to Dez Bryant, but the Texans stormed back to tie the game with a Randy Bullock field goal and another touchdown from Foster.

The game went to overtime, and the Cowboys forced the Texans to punt on their first drive to get the ball back. Romo got them into Houston territory with this incredible 36-yard catch by Bryant (Vine):

The game was then iced by Bailey with this field goal to give the ‘Boys the win 20-17 (Vine):
