Highlights: Cordarrelle Patterson Takes Off For 67-Yard Touchdown
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson has been one of the most hyped players in the offseason thanks to his multi-faceted abilities as a receiver, rusher, and kick returner.
Today (Sun., September 7, 2014) Patterson made his presence felt often in the Vikings’ dominant 34-6 win over the St. Louis Rams. Patterson was most effective in the rushing department, rushing for this stellar 67-yard touchdown late in the third quarter (Grant Ramey on Instagram):
Patterson finished with an impressive stat line of three carries for 102 yards TD and three receptions for 26 yards. He’s added a new wrinkle to the Vikings attack, and ESPN Stats & Info confirmed that he was the first NFL player to rush for 100 yards today, and as a wide receiver, no less:
