Brazil vs Chile Possible Lineups + Predictions (WC 2014)
Brazil to play agianst Chile in the very first knockout tie of 2014 world cup to be played at Estadio Mineirao in Belo Horizonte on Saturday, 29th June 2014, the kickoff time is 13:00 Local – 17:00 Uk time. check out the short preview and lineups predictions here.

So there we have it, Neymar and co cruised through group a which had 4 very competitive sides, Brazil were lucky in their first game against Croatia than Mexico made life difficult for them but they were relentless against Cameroon. While Chile not only beat Spain and Australia in the group they sent out a pretty strong statement they they mean business.
Match Statistics & Preview:
Neymar looks like a very dangerous striker after all, specialy at the international stage. He is currently joint top goal scorer in world cup with Lionel Messi both have 4 goals to their names. Brazil are like to go with the unchanged side which took the field against Cameroon in the last group game.
Chilian coach Jorge Sampaoli is extemely proud of this team’s achievment so far, they were placed in the group of 2010 world cup finalistis (Spain and Holland) and they came throug in flying colours beating Spain and Australia. This is probably the best team Chile has sent to a world cup and they will cause problems for Brazil.

Team News and Possible Starting Lineups:
Brazil have problems at the back and that was evident in the game against Cameroon, David Luiz looks like a liability at the back and he is prone to make silly mistakes. Thiago Silva has to up his game a notch to keep cover for Luiz, While Marcelo is great going forward but while defending he is another player who can cost a goal or two.
Chile are most definately going to name unchanged squad with took the field in earlier games. here is how I think both sides will lineup.

Brazil vs Chile Date, Time & Venue:
Round of 16 – Knockout Stages 2014 world cup
Date: 29 June 2014 – Kickoff: 13:00 Local/ 17:00 BST
Venue: Estádio Mineirão in Belo Horizonte
Match Predictions:
Brazil are starting to gel together and perform as a team, Neymar looks like a real handful upfront and Chile will have to reduce his impact on the game early on. Brazil’s weak link is their striker upfront in Fred who scored his first world cup goals since 2006 against Cameroon the other day.
Brazil looks shaky at the back and if this was not a world cup game I would have gone with Chile to win this match, but Brazil has this love affair with competition and playing at home I can not see them getting knocked out just yet (and fifa wont like it either). I am going with a late win for Brazil and possibly a controversial one.
