DATE: March 22, 2013 11:35 AM UTC
VANUE: He Long Stadium — Changsha

In the Asia Cup Qualifiers we will have China taking on Iraq in what should be a cracker of a game at He Long Stadium in China. Iraq will be hoping to snap up a 2nd successive win in the group stages as they already grabbed all three points against Indonesia while China will be hoping to kick start their campaign back on track when they host Iraq.

Iraq won the first match in the group stages 1-0 against a very much motivated Indonesian side, while before that they played a friendly match against Malaysia and won the game 3-0 and they are in good form at the moment as they have notched up quite a few international matches already under their belt this year.

China on the other hand, with all their spending in the Super league have yet to produce some world class players and they are suffering on International stage. Their first game in the group stages was a 2-1 defeat away from home against Saudi Arabia and they will be looking to get back on track when they host China.

China vs Iraq Head to Head Record History

Both the sides meet back in 2011 in the World Cup Qualifiers in home and away legs and both the games were won by Iraq with a single goal margin. Iraq are very good at the back and they have some good pacy players upfront and China will have to be solid in defense and carefull when they are attacking.
