Chelsea vs Manchester City USA Friendly Match 1 – 23 May 2013
Chelsea next home game and the last in the season is against Everton, and there is alot riding on this match as they chase the Champions league next season. They are currently sitting 3rd on the table and they need to match Arsenal’s result to get automatic Qualification to the Champions League next season by finishing 3rd, if they lose however and Arsenal win their match they will finish 4th and will have to play Qualifying round before the Champions League group stages.

Chelsea have been the most consistant team in terms of winning trophies in the last 10 years in English football, they have been winning premier League titles, FA Cups, League cups and now they have added Champions League and Europa League in their arsenal in the last couple of years. Their 2012/2013 season has been strange it started on a high when they started the campaign as European Champions, but Roman Abrahimovic fired Roberto Di Mateo few month after he guided Chelsea to their first ever Champions League crown and after that it was a downhill spiral, though Rafael Benitez the interim Manager did manager to turn things around at the end of the season and they won the Europa League and finished in top 4 of the Premier League.
