The stadium was build for the FIFA World Cup 2014 and the construction started on existing stadium which was demilished in 2010. The stadiuam official opening was with a friendly game between two local clubs in the city on 18th of May 2013 and here is the full fixture list of FIFA World CUp matches to be played on this stadium and we will have more information on how to get the tickets for this venue after all the FIFA World Cup draws has been made.

Getting to the Stadium:

The stadium is located near the TV Tower and the JK Memorial and Eixo Monumental in the central part of the city, so getting to the stadium is quite straight forward with the help of buses or metros.

Take the bus along Eixo Monumental from the central part of the city. Use of public transport is recommended and traveling on foot is not suited even though Stadium is located just 2 kilometres from the Central Metro station of the city.

Eating, Drinking and Hoteling

Since the stadium is located in the central part of the city, many tourist attraction of the city will be on walking distance however the city is build for cars and buses so traveling on foot wont be such a good idea.

As for the food and drinking, the best place is many big shopping centres around the city of which Brasília Shopping mall is the biggest and will be the hub of tourists.
