German and European Champions Bayern Munich started their 2013-14 Pre-season campaign against German side Sonnenhof on 13 July 2013 as new manager Pep Guardiola took charge of the team for the first time in official match. Bayern Munich wo won the treble last season start the game slow but at the half hour mark they struck through Shaqiri who made it 2-0 within 7 minutes of the first goal.

As soon as the first goal went in, flood gate open and Bayern Munich ran riot and scored two more before the break, with Arjan Robben and Ribery on the scoresheet. Guardiola will be happy with the game and the first half performence.

After the break Muller and Green scored at the start of the 2nd half and at the end of the match respectively, and Bayern Munich completed a stroll with an easy 6-0 win which could have been much more had they taken their chances in the 2nd half of the game.
