George Groves vs Christopher Rebrasse Fight Date Time
George “Saint” Groves has announced his return to boxing ring with a fight lined up in September against Christopher Rebrasse and the fight is rumoured to take place in Wembley Arena. This is the elimination fight for WBC super-middleweight where the winner of Groves-Rebrasse will take on the winner of Anthony Dirrell-Sakio Bika fight which will take place on 16 August 2014.

This will be the ring return for Groves who was defeated in back to back Froch fights and most recent was the one took place on 31st May 2014 where Froch Knocked-Out Groves leaving his career in the balance. This is probably the most important fight for Groves who can get another shot at the title by winning this fight and setting up a blockbuster fight against either Anthony Dirrell or Sakio Bika.
Christopher Rebrasse is a 32 year boxer with the career record of (22-3-2) which 22 wins, 2 defeats and 3 draws in his career so far, while Groves record stands at 19-0-2 and both of his defeats came in the hand of Carl Froch in last 1 year. Groves was quite confident about his chances against Rebrasse when the fight was announced.
He replied to a question about whether he will continue his famous mind games and his answer was “Maybe”. He also stated that he takes boxing as big time gambling and with his mind games and stuff sometime it pays off and sometime he lose big. But he still believes in him and one day he will be a world champion.
