Mayweather: At 36 years old he is still going strong and is coming into this fight on the back of a super result against Guerrero, He won a unanimous decision his opponend and showcased his precise hosts throughout the fight.

There are not many boxers out there who can top what mayweather have to offer in the ring, His defense and technique is so superior to everyone and rarely gets hit with clean shots. Although he is facing a young boxer with 13 years of age difference that is somthing which might trouble him and also the size of Canelo who is bigger than Mayweather. But having seen his last fight I am putting Mayweather slight favourite for this one.

Canelo Alvarez (42-0-1, 30 KO)

Alvarez on the other hand is a very young and powerfull boxer, since turning into a full fledged junior middleweight in last couple of years have have Knocked out 4 of his 7 oppoenents, we can safely say that if we see the Knockout in the fight it will be from Alvarez.

Mayweather vs Alvarez Predictions:
This fight looks set to cause problems from Mayweather, who is scheuled to fight in 5 more bouts in next 30 months or so, I think both boxers will bring their A game into the ring and I do beleive it will be the toughest test Mayweather had in his career but I am favouring him to win a unanimous decision.

Floyd Mayweather will be taking on Saul Canelo Alvarez in what will be a mega budget fight in Las Vegas on 14th September 2013 what promising to be a cracker of a match. Mayweather after beating Guerrero was looking for opponents and like he said that he wants his fans to see him in the best fights out there and there you have it, two of the biggest names in boxing with unbeaten records to their name will go head to head.

Mayweather who recorded his 44th win of his career against Guerrero back in May 2013, will put his record and belts on the line against another unbeaten and proven boxer in Canel Alvarez in Vegas on 14th September 2013. Mayweather revealed the fight in a tweet earlier in the day when he tweeted that

“‘I chose my opponent for September 14 and it’s Canelo Alvarez,’

“I’m giving the fans what they want. It will be at the MGM Grand.’

British boxing star Amir Khan was thought to be in the running but he will have to wait atleast till next May 2014 for the fight against Mayweather. This is the first time in last few years Mayweather will go into the fight with a serious danger of losing out his unbeaten record, He is 36 already coming up against a much younger powerfull boxer and it will be a great fight to savour. I still rate Mayweather slight favourite for the fight and if he can keep his focus and bring his A game to the ring Alvarez will have the first defeat on his record.
