Cleverly vs Bellew 2 Results & Scorecards
Cleverly vs Bellew 2 went down this past weekend amongst a storm of combat sports….
Nathan Cleverly and Tony Bellew met for the second time this past Saturday (November 22nd, 2014) but were obviously overshadowed by the Manny Pacquiao vs Chris Algieri bout going down in China. “The Bomber” avenged his 2011 majority decision loss to Cleverly with what appeared to be a clear cut decision.
The judge’s scorecards were consulted after 12 rounds though, and a split decision was rendered. The tallying was a lot closer than first thought:

114-115, 116-112, 115-113 in Bellew’s favour.
Former Olympic super heavyweight Anthony Joshua also took to the ring on Saturday, and for the seventh time in 2014. He faced veteran and former British and Commonwealth champion Michael Sprott. The result was an expected first round knockout, as the 39-year old was no match for the young AJ.
James DeGale also returned to action, putting the screws to Marco Antonio Periban in round three, and George Groves TKOs Denis Douglin in seven.
