Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal took some time off practice as they headed out for shopping ahead of Wimbledon that commences this weekend.

Federer paid a visit to a Uniqlo store along with his wife Mirka, and guess what?

His presence created a furor in the vicinity as hundreds of fans rushed in to see their favourite in person and click photographs.

So much so, that police had to be called in to control the situation after the Swiss maestro was forced to cut short the visit.

Nadal, meanwhile, headed out on a bicycle to visit a nearby supermarket. A video of the Spaniard paddling on the streets of Wimbledon village later started making rounds on the internet (CLICK HERE TO WATCH).

Meanwhile, the duo – alongside Serbia’s Novak Djokovic – will be among the top favourites to win this year’s Championships.

While Djokovic has been seeded No. 1, thanks to his ranking, Federer has been seeded second due to his past results, pushing Nadal back to third.

The main draw ceremony is scheduled to take place on June 28.
