VIDEO: Nick Kyrgios seeks advice from female fan on championship point, wins Washington title

Nick Kyrgios was at his entertaining best as he edged past Daniil Medvedev 7-6 7-6 to win Citi Open title in Washington on Sunday.
The Australian star proved his win over top seed Stefanos Tsitsipas in the semi-finals was no fluke as he overcame third-seeded Medvedev to win his sixth ATP title.
And he did so in style, seeking advice from a female fan seated in the front row as to which side should he serve on.
And guess what? It worked for him as a wide serve turned out to be an ace on championship point.
No wonder, Kyrgios went up and hugged her.
For the unversed, the 24-year-old did the same in all of his previous matches at the tournament.
Nick ‘crowd puller’ Kyrgios (maybe?) will have only a few days to relax as he is scheduled to travel to Montreal for the Rogers Cup. He will face Britain’s Kyle Edmund in the first round.
