Eugenie Bouchard may be going through a rough patch, but she seems to be enjoying her time off the court… or may be not?

The Canadian tennis star, who was once ranked as high as No. 5 in the WTA rankings, has had a terrible 2018, having won six off the 16 matches player this season.

Having dropped out of the top-150 recently, Bouchard jetted off to France to practice at the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy ahead of the French Open.

And apart from training, Bouchard seems to have made some new friends over there too. In a clip posted on social media, she can be seen taking the ice bucket challenge after losing a bet, it turns out.

“Also got ice dunked on me, not fun,” the 24-year-old wrote alongside a number of weeping emoticons.

“A bet is a bet, @geniebouchard,” the academy’s official page captioned the video on Instagram.

The second Major of the year is scheduled to get under way on May 21.
