VIDEO: Conchita Martinez Out-Slices David Ferrer During Davis Cup Practice
Conchita Martinez, who is best known for being the only Spanish woman to win the Wimbledon title, has still not lost her feared moves on court.
The 44-year-old Davis Cup captain hit a few backhand slices with compatriot David Ferrer on the other side of the net in India, where the Spanish team is scheduled to meet the hosts in New Delhi for the Davis Cup World Group playoffs this weekend.
And guess what? Not Ferrer, but Martinez won the point after the former crashed one on to the net at the R.K. Khanna Tennis Stadium in the Capital.

Team Spain, who went full-strength with Rafael Nadal leading the charge, will start as the outright favourites against India, who will be without some of their star players including doubles-specialist Rohan Bopanna who pulled out due to knee injury.
The match-up will be held from September 16-18 on the outdoor hard courts.
