What is the prize money of US Open Tennis Championship ? lets take a look what is going on as the authorities want to make US Open as much competitive as possible and we have a 28% rise in the Prize Money as compared to the 2012.

US Open 2013 Prize Money: $33.6 million

Reportedly USTA has a long term vision, to ensure that by 2017 they will be paying out more than $50 Millions as the prize money and this year we have a 28% increase compared to last year and now Prize Money of US Open has jumped from $22 Million to $33.6 M.

Its a massive increase and since Australian open increased the Prize money from $26 million to $31 million this year, while french Open increased from $24 million to $28 million it was fitting that US open will also increase the purse. While Wimbledon is still has the largest prize money with $34 million paid during 2013 event.
