So who will go into the US Open 2013 as favourite and who will actually win it ? lets take a look at Mens draw possiblities.

#.1 Novak Djokovic
Verdict – Winner

Novak Djokovic had a superb season this year, not in terms of titles but performences. When he won the Australian Open with such ease it looked like he will run away with most of the majors and he did reach all three finals and was undone by Nadal in French Open final in epic battle which could have gone either way, while at Wimbledon he played the worst match in last couple of years against Murray. But at hard court he is pretty good and usualy have no problem going through the early rounds

#.2 Andy Murray

Verdict: Runner Up

What a superb 12 months Andy Murray had, won his first major last year in US Open, but in 2013 when it looked he is down and out he skip French Open but won the wimbledon and ended the wait for British people to have their own Wimbledon winner after 77 years. He will be buzzing and although got knocked out in Montreal Masters early come the US Open he will be raring to go and we tip him to reach final by beating either Nadal or Federer in Semi finals.
#.3 Rafael Nadal

Verdict: Semi Final (at most)

Nadal is not a world beater when it comes to hard courts in flashen meadows, his knees are weak now and Djokovic and Murray are in much better shape, he won the French Open title this year but knocked out in the first round of Wimbledon but he won the Coupe Rodgers Cup and looks like he want business in US Open and I can hardly see him making it to the semifinals, if he does Murray or Djokovic will be too much for him.
#.4 Juan Martin Del Potro

Verdict: Surprise Package (Possible Winner)

Del Potro is getting better with every game this year, he was lost in the semifinals against Djokovic in Wimbledon but he did not go without fighting. His power and ever improving court intelligence might fire him to glory at US Open since we are having many surprising results.
#.5 Roger Federer

Verdict – Semifinals or Better

Cant see him winning with some many young legs around him competing for the title, but he will regroup like always gets going when its gets touger. Federer is a class act and should make it to the quarter finals atleast and a favourable draw might get him to the finals.
