After Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic Dumped Out of Qatar Open
World No.1 Novak Djokovic followed in the footsteps of on-court rival, Rafael Nadal, to bow out of the Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2015 in Doha on Thursday.
The top-seeded Serb could not cope up with the barrage of big serves from Croatian giant, Ivo Karlovic, eventually going down 6-7, 7-6, 6-4 in the quarterfinal encounter.
“It was unbelievable,” Karlovic was quoted as saying by the ATP World Tour. “When I arrived here, I didn’t expect that one.
“He (Djokovic) wasn’t able to show his full range because it was windy. I just focused on my game and in the end I was a little luckier.”
