The new season is still a few weeks away and Rafael Nadal is enjoying some well-deserved time off before grinding it out on the court again.

The veteran Spanish tennis player hit the beach along with his girlfriend Maria Francisca Perello and a few of their friends.

Nadal later took to his official Twitter handle to share a picture of the group. He, however, didn’t let away the location to his 15 million followers.

“Enjoying some days of holidays with my friends and loved ones … Can you guys guess where we are?” the 16-time Grand Slam champion captioned the image.

Meanwhile, Nadal is scheduled to get his campaign started at the Mubadala World Tennis Championship – an exhibition event in Abu Dhabi from December 28-30.
