World No. 4 Petra Kvitova stormed into the quarterfinals of the WTA Shenzhen Open in China after trouncing little-known Serb Bojana Jovanovski on Tuesday.

Kvitova, the second seed, won 83 per cent of her first-serve points and further capitalized on by saving all the 3 break point opportunities en route her 6-1, 6-2 triumph in just over an hour.

In the other second round matches, 4^th seed Zarina Diyas got the better of Timea Babos (6-3, 6-4), while Saisai Zheng overcame Polona Hercog (6-3, 2-6, 6-2).
