‘F*** you’: Nick Kyrgios rages at crowd and warns umpire during Stan Wawrinka clash

For the second match in a row, Nick Kyrgios did it all he’s known for.

Just a day after stunning Rafael Nadal in a controversy-marred encounter, Kyrgios had another effortful day in the office as he prevailed 7-5 6-7 6-4 over Swiss star Stan Wawrinka in the quarter-finals of the ATP 500 event in Dubai.

Just like his previous appearance, Kyrgios was constantly involved in a banter with the crowd.

It all started after Kyrgios called for a medical time-out to treat injuries on his hand. Spectators, though, accused him of faking it, much to the Australian’s dismay.

“What is f***ing wrong with these f***ing people? There’s blood all over my hand, what the f*** do you want me to do? This is f***ing insane,” he went on a rant.

Later in the match, a spectator apparently hurled an expletive at Kyrgios, who shot back saying: “F*** you, man.”

Not that there were no more controversies. The 24-year-old had a run-in with chair umpire Damian Steiner after being asked to keep his emotions in check.

And Kyrgios was in no mood to take it. “Don’t ever say that to me again – mate, that’s bulls*it.

”I’ve got Rafa yesterday slowing me down before serve, he’s pumping up the crowd. Don’t talk to me like that. It’s bullshit.

”So am I. I’m pumping up the crowd. That’s fine. Get out of here.”
