British tennis star Laura Robson took to social media to reveal she is safe after being caught up in a shooting massacre in Las Vegas.

At least 50 people were killed and over 200 wounded after a gunman opened fire at a music concert being held near Mandalay Bay Hotel in Nevada.

“I’m okay. We were right there..sounded like fireworks at first then everyone started running. Scary s**t,” wrote Robson, who shared a selfie before the massacre unfolded.

“My friend who was deeper in the crowd has been helping people who were shot. We’re all in shock,” the 23-year-old added.

According to reports, the gunman was eventually shot dead by the police.

Robson, an Olympic silver medallist, was in the States to compete in the $60K event in Templeton, where she lost in the quarter-finals to local hope Taylor Townsend last week.
