Prize Money in tennis grand slams are soaring increases every year, Currently Wimbledon is the highest paying tennis competition where a total of $42.3m USD are allocated for prize money funds. While French Open paid $34m USD in prize money in 2014. US Open also got an overall increase in Prize money which takes the total prize money pool to 34.2 million usd. US Open officials has stated that they would like to reach $50 million in prize money in the next 5 years which is putting pressure on other grand slams to keep the pace.
