Andy Murray may be going through the toughest time of his tennis career, but that seems to have had not affected his sense of humour.

Just a couple of days before the Australian Open, the British star announced he could retire after Wimbledon this eyes – or even at the end of season-opening Grand Slam next week – due to a recurring hip injury.

So disappointed he appeared that he couldn’t control his tears during the press conference.

However, Murray appeared at his joking best on social media after he left a cheeky comment on Swiss counterpart Stan Wawrinka’s Instagram post.

Wawrinka posted a picture of himself with his hitting partner, with the latter pointing his finger in such a way so as to apparently indicate the ball’s landing near a line.

Wawrinka asked his fans to caption the photo. And after reading Murray’s reply, he would agree he dug his own grave.

“It was this small when you got out the cryotherapy chamber,” Murray wrote.

For those unaware, Murray has trolled the likes of Donald Trump, Nick Kyrgios and Juan Monaco among the recent ones.
