Nick Kyrgios confirms he’s done for 2018 season, celebrates at McDonalds
Nick Kyrgios’s 2018 season may have come to an abrupt end, but he doesn’t seem to be bogged down one bit.
The Australian star had his season cut short after a recurring elbow injury forced his withdrawal from the Kremlin Cup. After winning his opening-round match against Andrey Rublev, he conceded a walkover to Mirza Basic on
“Sorry guys, I won’t be able to play today, this evening, it is obviously very unfortunate, dealing with ongoing elbow injury,” Kyrgios told the tournament website.
He added: “It started to bother me a little bit this week. I am going to choose to wrap up my season and to go home. I will start a recovery and see you in 2019.”
Just hours after, Kyrgios took to his official Twitter account to share a picture from his celebrations… a treat to himself.
“It’s begun,” he captioned a picture of a couple of fries packets.
He certainly knows how to keep cool.
