VIDEO: Malek Jaziri almost clashes with female linesman after hitting Radu Albot at US Open
It was a far from convicting day for Tunisia’s No. 1 tennis player, Malek Jaziri.
First, he almost bumped into a female linesman during his men’s doubles semi-final against Lukasz Kubot and Marcelo Melo. Then, he went a step further, hitting his partner Radu Albot at the back of the head with a booming serve, accidentally, of course. ????
To make things worse, Jaziri and Albot ended up on the losing side as they went down 6-7 6-3 3-6 to the 7th seeds.

The first incident happened during the ninth game of the first set, when Jaziri – in an attempt to chase a ball that went on to land straight into the stands – almost clashed with a female linesman. He, however, was quick to serve up an apology to her.
The second one took place at 2-5 down in the decider, when a Jaziri serve crashed on to Albot’s head. Credit to the latter though, who took it like a champ by laughed if off once his partner turned up to check if he was fine.
Some days are tough at the office. Sure, Jaziri would agree!
