WATCH: Diego Schwartzman’s embarrassing second serve at Aegon International
Nikoloz Basilashvili hit so bad a second serve at the Australian Open that one may consider it as one of the worst of all time. But hey, there’s perhaps another one that could be added to the list.
At the ongoing Aegon International in Eastbourne, Argentina’s Diego Schwartzman missed the t-line by a huge margin in one his second serves during his match against Slovakia’s Lukas Lacko on Wednesday.
Such wide was the serve that it landed near the singles line of the ad court. Embarrasing, isn’t it?
Schwartzman, who is currently at a career-best ranking of No. 11 and the top seed at the tournament, went on to lose 6-4 4-6 5-7 against the 94th-ranked Lacko in a first-round encounter that lasted two hours and 15 minutes.
And, Twitterati couldn’t control their laughter.
“That is next level stuff,” one person tweeted. “King of grass,” another one wrote
One personal went on to a whole different level as he called it an “ace.”
