WATCH: Bethanie Mattek-Sands is back on court after suffering horrific knee injury
Less than three months after suffering a horrific knee injury, American tennis player Bethanie Mattek-Sands is back on court.
The 32-year-old had to go under the knife after retiring midway during her second-round match against Sorana Cirstea at Wimbledon.
“Please help me! Please! Please! F***,” screamed Mattek-Sands as she clutched her knee and writhed in pain on August 6.
Going by her Twitter account, Mattek-Sands seems to have recovered well from the injury.
The five-time Grand Slam champion in doubles shared a video of herself hitting a few casual shots.
“Just wanna be like @rogerfederer #OneHanders … oh AND @luciesafarova #Leftie,” Mattek-Sands captioned the video to her 63,700 followers.
“Gonna have a sexy right leg tan line,” she added of the strap on her right knee.
