505 games announced the release of Ashes Cricket 2013 Video which was supposed to release at the end of June 2013 but that release date has been pushed ahead to somewhere in July and most probably will be announced just before the start of Australian tour of England. The first test start on 10th July and we can expect the game to be out before that.

Ashes Cricket 2013 Game Features:
So far some of the features in the game has been confirmed with the likes of commentators, game modes licences of teams and game engine details and here are some of the important features what you can expect in the game.

Official Commentators:
Mark Nicholas, David LLyodd, Michael Slater has been confirmed as the voice behind the game.

Game Engine:

  • 360 degree control over shot placement
  • line and length bowling system

Game Modes:

  • Full playable Ashes Series 2013-2014
  • Shorter formats of the game (Like 20/20)

All New Field Editor:
With the new game engine players will be able to set their own customise fielding, you can have 9 fielders in the slips if you want, with Ashes Cricket 2013 choice is yours.

Here are some of the released screenshots and game play pictures of ASHES CRICKET, Looks pretty neat I must say, although in one of the screen, batsman is playing a shot with holding bat backwards. (well maybe a tailander is batting with a bad technique who knows)

News Update:
There is a cool edition of Exeter University Cricket Team in the game, as after winning the 505 Studio competition, they will be given a chance to be part of the game. Players face graphics will be captured to make them real in the game and here is video for that.
