Cristiano Ronaldo is leaving no stone unturned to make a quick comeback, it seems.

The Juventus superstar suffered an injury to his right thigh during Portugal’s Euro 2020 qualifiers against Serbia last week.

Consequently, Ronaldo missed his club’s last fixture, against Empoli, even as he announced he should be back “in a week or two.”

And if his latest Instagram post is anything to go by, he’s not willing to take any longer to be back on track.

Ronaldo posted a short video of himself undergoing a gruelling swimming session. “Working hard on my recovery,” he wrote the caption to his 160 million followers.

The 34-year-old later posted a picture of himself, showing off his envious body while posing in just boxers. That will make even the fittest people envy, no?

Meanwhile, it remains to be seen if Ronaldo can make his return ahead of Juventus’ Champions League quarterfinal against Ajax on April 11.

Chairman Andrea Agnelli is keeping the bigger picture in mind though. “When you have such injuries, you need to be careful. Ronaldo is fine,” he said.

“We’ll protect him from here until the end of the season because that’s more important than thinking about a single match.”
