New Adidas Adizero Kits technology 2014

The All New Adidas Adizero Kit Technology for World Cup 2014 Kits

Today we take a look and review the new technology Adidas are using in their new set of international kits released in last couple of days.

Adidas put together a technology called “adizero” (previously used in boots) to make kits much more lighter than before. All the kits produced by Adidas for the FIFA World Cup teams are around 40 percent lighter than the ones Adidas designed back in 2012 Euro’s. With the use of “woven lightweight fabric” adidas went ahead and made the collar and cuffs of the kits much more lighter.

What is more important is the fact that Adidas took the leaf out of Nike’s book, as they copied the dri-Fit formula to keep the kits more dry. Apart from that Adidas went ahead and changed all the details like in new Adizero kit, they used simple heated logo/crest instead of the woven style designs. All of these change combinations helped adidas to get the weight of the kit to mere 100g.
