Champions League Final Would be Under Roof
For the first time, the Champions League Final is going to be held under the Roofed Stadium. The Football Association of Wales (FAW) has decided to step in with security concerns.
Italy will face defending champions Real Madrid in the final of the European Championship in Principili Stadium on Cardiff on June 3 against Italy’s club Juventus.
Security concerns worried across Europe after 22 people killed in a concert suicide bomb attack in Manchester on Monday. In view of this, the decision to keep the stadium roof covered during the match was discussed with the concerned people. On the day before the final, the two teams will have formal training sessions in the roofed stadium, said FAW.
The European Football Regulatory Agency UEFA said they are giving priority to ensuring the safety of all players, including fans and Player, in the Champions League final, like all other matches.
