Worst throw ever? Sandeep Lamichanne involved in embarrassing goof-up in IPL [VIDEO]

It goes without saying that Sandeep Lamichhane is a terrific bowler. He’s the only cricketer from Nepal to feature in the Indian Premier League (IPL), after all. The same, though, cannot be said about his fielding skills.

Playing for Delhi Capitals (DC) against SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Thursday, the 18-year-old leg-spinner made an embarrassing gaffe during the second innings of the match.

After SRH opener David Warner played an uppercut off a short-pitched delivery from DC fast bowler Kagiso Rabada, Lamichhane – fielding at third man – safely collected the ball.

The throw that ensued, however, left him red-faced as the batsmen came back for the second round (is that the worst throw ever?).

Earlier in the day, DC managed to put up 129-8 in 20 overs before SRH rode on opener Jonny Bairstow’s 28-ball 48 to win by five wickets and move on top of standings.
