VIDEO: Stuart Broad, Luke Fletcher involved in nasty ‘boxing’ clash during County match
Have you ever seen a head-butt between two 6’6” guys? No, we are not talking about a heavyweight boxing clash, but a cricket match.
One such incident happened on field over the weekend; only that, the fender-bender between the two players wasn’t intentional.
During their County Division 1 match against and Worcestershire, Nottinghamshire teammates Stuart Broad and Luke Fletcher were involved in a collision.
In an attempt to steal a quick single, they ran into each, forcing the physio to swing into action.
Furthermore, Broad dodged a couple of power-shots from Fletcher as he took to his official Twitter handle to write: “Don’t mess with Luke Fletcher.”
Fletcher, too, laughed off the incident on social media by juxtaposing their clash to a boxing match. “Apart from taking a left hook off @StuartBroad8 it’s been great having him back in the green and gold,” he wrote.
Meanwhile, knocks from Broad (38) and Fletcher (27*) helped Nottinghamshire make 300 before bundling out Worcestershire for scores of 110 and 149 to clinch an innings and 41-run victory.
