Ever wanted to see Sachin Tendulkar play cricket again? Well, he briefly did so, returning to action for a fun net session at DY Patil Stadium recently.

The legendary Indian batsman later took to his official Instagram account to share a video of himself turning back the clock with his old friend Vinod Kambli.

First, Tendulkar bowled a few medium-paced deliveries to Kambli.

What proved he’s still taking nothing for granted was Tendulkar bowling around the wicket after Kambli started leaving his wide balls alone from over the wicket.

Then, took the bat in his hands and did what he always did the best: nailing those crisp cover drives and effortless on drives.

No wonder, even Brett Lee couldn’t help praising Tendulkar as he wrote: “How’s the on drive [inserts high-five emoticon].”

“Nothing beats the feeling of being back on the field Binga,” an excited Tendulkar commented.

Tendulkar, who retired from all forms of cricket in 2013, has been among the coaching staff for Indian Premier League champions Mumbai Indians.

Not too bad for a comeback, is it? Fans would certainly hope so (click here to see video).
