Catches win you matches, they say. And that could have well been the case as Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) beat Rajasthan Royals (RR) by six wickets in an Indian Premier League match in Indore on Monday.

During the 13th over of RR’s innings, the KXIP duo of Mayank Agarwal and Manoj Tiwari pulled off a stunning relay catch at the boundary to dismiss Ben Stokes (12).

As can be seen in the video below, Stokes tried to hit a Mujeeb Ur Rahman delivery over long off, where Agarwal took a fine catch but found himself at risk of losing balance and conceding a six.

Exhibiting good presence of mind, he threw the ball to Tiwari – who came running from long on – before falling over the ropes.

We are sure Agarwal wouldn’t mind the catch being awarded in Tiwari’s favour!

Meanwhile, KXIP went on to restrict RR to 152-9 in 20 overs before an unbeaten 54-ball 84 from in-form opener KL Rahul helped them chase down with eight balls to spare.
